During our edtech class this fall, we were introduced to several technological platforms designed for education. I found this class to be very valuable. I was very excited to try to implement several. I thought that having experts present was valuable. The time allotted to interact with the media allowed for an understanding of said media to a point of proficiency. It is one thing to be told how to use something and quite another to experience its use. The most useful education media, in my opinion was e-portfolios. Creating a living document that charts and displays learning through a temporal continuum is a wonderful system. This diminishes the need for stacks of paper and maintains a transparent lens for all stake holders. I plan on implementing much of the technology in my practice.
